Accessibility

Is the amphitheatre accessible for persons with disabilities? 

Accessible, ADA-compliant seating and restrooms are available in the amphitheatre for patrons with mobility concerns.

Accessible, ADA-compliant parking is available in the paved Gogue Center parking lot. A state-issued license plate or placard is required.

 

Arrival

What time should I arrive for performances?  

To maximize space for physical distancing, all Spring 2021 performances will have staggered arrival times based on the price zone of your original ticket. To reduce congestion in the arrival plaza, and for the health and safety of your fellow patrons, we ask that you arrive within the window of your assigned time: 

Price A 6–6:30 p.m.

Price B 6:30–7 p.m.

Price C 6:45–7:15 p.m.

Price D 7–7:30 p.m.

Price E 7–7:30 p.m.

 

Bag Policy

Are bags allowed in amphitheatre?  

Like many entertainment venues, the Gogue Center adheres to a clear bag policy in an effort to provide patrons, artists, staff, volunteers and vendors with a safe and secure environment. Our clear bag policy follows the guidelines established by Auburn University for gamedays at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Bags must be clear plastic and not exceed 12” x 6” x 12.”  One-gallon resealable plastic storage bags (clear) and small clutch purses (non-clear) not exceeding 6.5” x 4.5” are permitted. All bags are subject to search. CLICK HERE for a list of prohibited bags. 

Can I leave my bag or any other items at the entry gate?

No. The Gogue Center will not assume responsibility for any personal belongings left at the entry gate. You will be asked to return any personal items prohibited from entering the amphitheatre to your vehicle.  

I need to bring items into the amphitheatre for medical reasons that don’t fit in a clear bag. What do I do?

Medically necessary items may be brought into the amphitheatre pending proper screening by security personnel. A member of our patron services team will be happy to assist you at the entry gate.

Is the box office open for will call prior to the performance? 

 

 

Cameras and Mobile Devices

May I bring a camera to an event or performance? How about a phone?   

Yes, but the use of cameras and recording devices during performances is strictly prohibited (unless otherwise noted). Phones are permitted, too, but all mobile and electronic devices should be turned off or silenced during performances.  

 

Children

Are children allowed at performances in the amphitheatre?  

Children under three years of age will not be admitted to performances held in the amphitheatre. Children must be able to sit quietly in their own seats throughout the performance. Those unable to do so, along with the adult(s) accompanying them, may be asked by staff, volunteers or security to leave the venue. Under no circumstances may children be left unattended or allowed to leave their pod without an adult.  

Do children require a ticket? 

Yes. All patrons, regardless of age, must have their own individual ticket in order to attend a performance. 

Concessions

Will concessions be available for performances in the amphitheatre?  

Concessions will be available, but all food and beverage items must be pre-ordered online. You can place concession orders up to 4 p.m. the day of the performance. Concession pickup locations will be designated by on-site signage. No concessions will be sold during or after a performance. 

May I bring outside food or beverages into the amphitheatre? 

Outside food and beverages are not permitted within the amphitheatre. You may bring one factory-sealed bottle of water into the amphitheatre.  

 

Exiting the Amphitheatre

Can I leave the amphitheatre and come back during a performance? 

Sorry, but due to health and safety concerns, re-entry into the amphitheatre is prohibited. You will not be allowed to exit and return to the venue. 

Will concessions be available during outdoor events?

Yes. Local food trucks will be present for all outdoor performances and events during the Grand Opening Festival.

Are there staggered exiting times after the conclusion of a performance? 

No. Ushers will guide patrons to the amphitheatre exits in an organized and safe manner, but there will be no assigned times for leaving the venue. 

 

Face Coverings

Are masks required for performances in the amphitheatre?  What if I have been vaccinated? 

While in the amphitheatre, all patrons, staff, volunteers and vendors must wear face coverings regardless of their vaccination status. 

Parking

Will I still have the same access to parking? 

You will be able to park in the paved Gogue Center lot on Woodfield Drive. Additional parking will be available in the hayfield lot at the corner of Woodfield and South Donahue drives. Designated drop-off and pick-up points in the arrival plaza will be designated with signage. 

Will valet parking be available? 

Valet parking will not be available for Spring 2021 outdoor performances. If you are a sponsor who received valet parking benefits as part of an annual benefits package, you will be able to use them for a Woltosz Theatre performance at a later date. 

 

Pets and Service Animals

Are pets allowed in the amphitheatre?

Only trained service animals or service animals in training with identifiable vests are permitted in the amphitheatre. No other pets are allowed. All service animals must be leashed or harnessed at all times. 

 

Restrooms

Will patrons have access to restrooms during performances presented in the amphitheatre? 

The Gogue Center’s outdoor public restrooms as well as additional portable toilets will be available to patrons throughout the performance. 

 

Safety and Security

Are there any COVID-related reasons I should not attend a performance? 

Yes. We ask that you do not attend a performance if: 

• You feel ill or are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms. 
• You have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days. 
• You have been directed by a health care provider or public health official to self-isolate or quarantine. 
• You are currently waiting for the results of a COVID-19 test.  

 

Seating

How will seats be organized for performances in the amphitheatre? 

Seating will be physically distanced for all Spring 2021 performances. All seating will be arranged in pre-defined, safely spaced boxed seating areas, or pods. Pods come in two sizes: 10’ x 10’ for up to four patrons from the same household and the smaller 6’ x 6’ for up to two patrons from the same household. 

Will I be assigned a seat or pod? 

There is no assigned seating. You can choose to sit in any pod you would prefer.

Can I leave my pod during the performance?   

You may only leave your pod to retrieve pre-ordered concessions, visit the restroom, or exit the venue at the conclusion of the performance. At all other times we ask that you remain seated in your pod for the duration of the event. 

May I bring chairs into the amphitheatre? 

Each seating pod will be furnished with chairs, so no outside chairs, seats or stools are needed or permitted.

Venue

Why are performances being moved to the amphitheatre? 

We have moved our performances for Spring 2021 outside because of concerns for the health and safety of our patrons, staff, volunteers, vendors and visiting artists. The larger space provides ample room to hold full capacity shows despite the added social distancing requirements that would have limited our seating capacity in the smaller, enclosed space of the Woltosz Theatre.

Weather

What happens if it rains? 

All Spring 2021 performances take place rain or shine. 

What if sever weather stops or cancels a performance? Will I get a refund? 

In the event of severe weather, the Gogue Center adheres to the lightning policy established by the SEC.   

For a performance that is cancelled or shortened due to severe weather, there will not be a full or partial refund.
