Alabama’s own Jason Isbell returns to Auburn for a very special solo performance at the Woltosz Theatre.

Critically acclaimed for his raw and emotional honesty, the multi-hyphenate superstar (singer, songwriter, guitarist, actor) has steadily earned his place as one of music’s greatest performing songwriters. The six-time Grammy winner and rock ‘n’ roll icon celebrated a remarkable year in 2023, starring in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, releasing his ninth studio album, Weathervanes. In 2024, Isbell added two more Grammy Awards his growing list of accolades, winning Best Americana Album and Best American Roots Song (“Cast Iron Skillet”). Isbell lights up any stage with “brutally beautiful” (Rolling Stone) songs such as “Cover Me Up,” “If We Were Vampires,” “King of Oklahoma,” and “Cast Iron Skillet.”

An Evening with Jason Isbell is presented by the Gogue Center as a season add-on. Tickets for this performance are not included as part of any 2023–24 season or series subscription package.

“With his honeysuckle drawl and unrivaled knack for lyrical detail, Jason Isbell is arguably the most revered roots-rock singer-songwriter of his generation.”
